Salvör Gullbrá Þórarinsdóttir is the director of Hundred Thousand, an Opera. She has worked on a wide scale of the performing arts since graduating from the University of the Arts in 2019, as an author, director, performer and stand-up comedian. She directed the works of the Polish-Icelandic theatre company PóliS in Tjarnarbíó and Reykjavík City Theatre, which received the Icelandic Theatre Award as Startup of the year in 2021. She wrote and performed the stage play FemCon in Reykjavík City Theatre with the stand-up group My Funnies, was a dancer in the dance piece Neind Thing, and one of the authors of the play and assistant director in the independent production of Halldór Laxness's Íslandsklukka in the National Theatre in the spring of 2023. Salvör is the artistic director of the performing arts project Kid's Power, which creates performing arts and performances that aim to solidify the power relationship between adults and children with their works. Their work have travelled all over Iceland, to Norway and the Faroe Islands. She is also a member of the punk band Stormy Daniels.
